This hotel was wonderful, with excellent service and wonderful location to travel out of the town for an evening meal as everything seemed to close down early.

Location: the hotel was very close to the centre of a historic medieval Town, the center of Bergues and ferry at Dunkirk. Spent a nice evening at Le Berguenard, located near the venue. I've had nicely furnished and modern room with tea/coffee making facilities as well as lovely walled garden. There were a microwave oven, an electric kettle and a fridge upon arrival...

Location: the hotel was not far from shops, boulangeries & restaurants. The garden served a wide range of meals for breakfast😀

Overall had very comfortable stay in a very beautiful town. The location was marvellous and magnificent there, close to the town square. Found La Taverne Vauban with perfect drinks 500 metres away.

I had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel in Bergues. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, making me feel right at home. The location was perfect, allowing me to easily explore the lovely town on foot. The owner recommended a delightful restaurant for dinner, which exceeded my expectations. I was truly touched when I found a bag of bread, jam, cheese, and juice in my room after returning from dinner, as I had to leave early the next morning and would miss breakfast. It was such a sweet gesture that made me feel cared for. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and comfortable stay.

I had a comfortable stay in a beautiful town. The staff were very helpful. The location was wonderful, set in a lovely walled garden. I really enjoyed the spacious and spotless rooms with lovely touches.

The location is very central, just minutes away from a ferry port, and the service is exceptional with a smiling staff.

The room was beautifully decorated and had a charming atmosphere. The bed linens were comfortable and the herbal tea and coffee supplies were a nice touch. The breakfast was exceptional, with fresh fruit and local cheeses. The view of the garden from the breakfast area was lovely.

The bathroom arrangement was a bit strange, with the basin located in a cupboard. This made it inconvenient and cramped for use.

The shower cubicle in our room was quite small or maybe we are used to a larger one!

The host recommended a fantastic dinner spot that we truly enjoyed. To top it off, they prepared a bag of bread, jam, cheese, and juice for us to take with us since we had to leave early for a ferry. Such a sweet and thoughtful gesture!

As a satisfied guest at Chambres D'Hotes Les Capucins, I stayed for a few nights during my visit to Bergues. The room was very comfortable and spacious, with a good-sized bed and a well-equipped bathroom. It was also great to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Additionally, the hotel's central location made it easy to explore the town and enjoy the nearby restaurants. The shared lounge downstairs seemed cozy and inviting, although I didn't have a chance to use it. a comfortable and convenient stay.

The room was spacious and clean, with a huge bathroom. The location was perfect, situated in the historic part of town. We were pleasantly surprised by the peacefulness, despite being close to the belfry. The free public parking in front of the hotel was convenient. On top of that, the Wi-Fi worked without any issues.

We had difficulty reaching the landlady upon our arrival and when we needed assistance with the lights in our room. The steep and narrow staircase might pose a challenge for some guests.

We had a big room with a huge bathroom, which was great. The room was also quiet, overlooking the garden, and the bells didn't ring during the night. We were happy to find free parking on the street right in front of the hotel. The wi-fi worked well, which was a nice bonus.

It was really frustrating that we couldn't reach the landlady when we arrived or when we had a problem with the lights in our room. The steep and narrow staircase could be problematic for some people, although we managed fine.
